BEA19 Shared Task Update - 6/3/2019

Dear BEA19 Shared Task Participants,

We have a series of important announcements to make:

1. We have just updated the shared task website with links to the Codalab competition platform. When the official shared task test phase begins, system output must be submitted via Codalab. Note that there is a different link for each track, and that participants will only be able to make up to 2 submissions per track during the test phase.

We encourage participants to join Codalab early however so that they can become more familiar with the submission process. Participants may already use Codalab to make unlimited submissions on the development set and receive detailed feedback about their systems.

2. We have also released version 2.0 of the W&I+LOCNESS and FCE datasets. Apostrophes and other punctuation had been corrected inconsistently so we normalised all punctuation in both datasets. We also noticed a bug in the character to token level edit script so fixed this as well. We did not update Lang-8 or NUCLE because these corpora had already previously been standardised by their original authors. 

3. We made some minor changes to the shared task important dates. In particular we hope to release shared task results 1 week earlier and added a camera-ready submission deadline to the timeline.
