‘As soon as you rise above mere survival, the question of meaning and
purpose becomes of paramount importance in your life.’

Eckhart Tolle

There are times when you may find yourself disenchanted with life.
Maybe you are tired of your job, or find yourself on auto-pilot as you
scurry around aimlessly trying to make ends meet. Survival mode takes
over and consumes every part of your life.

As this happens, more and more negative ideas and thoughts start to
pile on top of each other, you find that you can’t think straight or
even stretch yourself to a smile, until eventually something inside
you says ‘You have to stop.’ Listen to that ‘inside something’.

When you feel like this, you are out of alignment. Your inner and
outer purposes are not matching up. You may feel that if only you had
this, or if you only had that, then you would feel happy again.

This doesn’t have to be a problem.

In the first instance it is only a problem because you have labelled
it to be a problem. Secondly, you have to get honest with yourself.
Ask yourself ‘Why?’

There are always times when life seems to be on the up and up and it
is only a question of balance that demands a little down time.

One thing to remember is that everything you do is a choice. You
actually choose to stay in a place that is not in alignment with your
true self. Upon hearing this statement, you may already be hearing the
excuses. The truth of the matter is that the ‘down’ situation you find
yourself in, somehow works for you.

Now you get to choose. Are going to make it different? Maybe it calls
for enough honesty to admit to yourself that you have an addiction to
something. An addiction is only an unconscious action. When you become
aware of that and aware of the thoughts that come to defend that
action, then and only then, can you begin to heal.

Once you find yourself focussed on your inner purpose, you will
inevitably start to see that your outer purpose is starting to align
with your true self.

If you find you are in survival mode, make a choice to do one thing
that works on your inner purpose. Become aware of your surroundings
and reactions to situations through breathing consciously and creating
a space between you and the situation.

Take the pressure off yourself. You don’t have to do it all in one
day. In fact you don’t have to do anything at all. It has, is and will
always be... your choice!

Time to accept your freedom!

Happy Manifesting!
