I have been looking around for a business that is very little risk,
easy to run, low overhead and yet the income keep increasing every
month by at least 5 to 10%.
The answer is Birdnest Farming.
I went to a dinner one day with my wife classmates and the guy who sit
beside me told me his weired business ie: Birdnest Farming. That was
3 years ago.
I was very curious about it and with his pesistent, I followed him to
visit a couple of birdhouses that he owned and operate.
I was so suprised with the number of birds in these houses and after
looking at the price of Birdnest per kilo and running some numbers I
went into it without telling my wife.
U see, to own a birdnest is very simple. U just need to buy an old
building that are in a very bad condition and remodelled to a
birdhouse. I used him to remodel it.
U put in the wooden planks on the roof and sound system to lure the
birds. Once they are in the house you business starts its clock.
The moment the house is with the first nest, your property will jump
nearly double, he said. After U have 10 nests you are a millionaire,
he said.
U see, this birdnest business does not have U to employ any workers to
work for U. U have very little overhead, so EPF to pay, No socso, no
maternity leave, sick leave, allowance, no traffic jam, no invoice, no
delivery boy, no secretary, no clerk and so on. Your employee is
actually these swiftlets. U give them a place to stay and they will
breed and nest in the house. Once their babies are able to fly, U
harvest the nest.
The cost per Kilo is in the range of RM 5,000 which is equivalent to
120 birdnest.
The bird will bread year round. For 12 months they will reproduce 3
times. So if U have 100 birds nesting in 2007, by end of 2008 U shud
be having 300 + 100 = 400. The next year U shud be having 1200 + 400
= 1,600 nests and so on.
The more the bird multiply the more U will harvest the white gold.
In this manner your income will actually increase every month in about
5% to 10% a month without doing any heavy work.
So I wud like to suggest to those who wanted to be a millionaire to
consider this birdnest farming as one of your portfolio once U have
adequate fund to start one.
