it is reliably learnt that the State Election Committee has arrived at
a consensus on the candidates for five Lok Sabha constituencies.
However, they would be finalised along with others only on March 16.

These candidates are — Congress MLA C.P. Yogeshwar, who will be
fielded from Bangalore Rural constituency, former MLA Hanume Gowda
(Hassan), Janardhana Swamy (Chitraduraga), former Lokayukta official
Dodda Chowdappa (Kolar) and realtor Ashwath Narayana (Chickaballapur).
