Hi,
Our HTTP proxy requires authentication and this is apparently not supported.

Any plans to add this soon?

Thanks,
Simon

Hello Simon,
I will look into adding this support right now.  We should have an update out later today or early next week.

Thank,
James R.

Hey Simon,
This is more difficult than expected.  We should have this ready early next week though

Hey Simon,

Do you know what type of authentication your proxy uses? Basic? Digest? NTLM?

Hey Simon,

We have added the authenticated proxy support to the new 1.1.3 Release.  Please see the wiki page for all the changes that were made.

Thank you for providing the first Request!

Hi,

Well, it's nice that proxy support now works.

What's not so nice: The plugin sets https.proxyHost and https.proxyPort GLOBALLY for the Jenkins Java VM, which, for example, breaks SVN checkouts from internal hosts. Please don't touch those system properties and keep the proxy stuff local to your plugin.

Hi Tobias,
Such issue is normally regulated by excluding certain hosts from the proxy. Manage Jenkins —> Manage Plugins —> Advanced —> No Proxy Host (which is actually a list of host patterns per line)

Did you set your svn server in there.

Hi Kaj,

Uhm, what? Before installing the BlackDuck Vulnerability Plugin I didn't have to exclude my SVN server there and after removing the plugin I don't have to exclude my SVN server there, so this seems to be a bug (feature?) in the BlackDuck Vulnerability Plugin... You can even check in http://jenkins/systemInfo that the properties only get set if the plugin is activated.

Tobias,
Thanks for the detailed report. I give you that it is not the best implementation. We'll look into it.

Until then setting the no Proxy Hosts should get you working. You can set patterns as regex, i.e. *\.mydomain\.com
