I understand your situation. But sometimes we got very dumb questions from various members. They actually do not try to do anything by themselves, not even searching over Google. They thought some people do not have any work but answering others problem in this Google Group.

Anyway, I think you are not among them. So don't speak like that. You will get answers until your questions are intelligent and which may help other members. It's your choice whether you ask questions here or not.

I know CakePHP & CodeIgniter. Here is what I believe.

CakePHP:
- Very organized, powerful and good for professionals
- Lacking of good tutorial/documentation
- You have to follow its rules very strictly
- It's like your strict Science Teacher.

CodeIgniter:
- Easy to learn, good for beginners
- Well and large documentation available with the package.
- Flexible to work with
- It's like your favourite Sport Teacher.

We have our own framework similar to CakePHP. We developed it over time and suitable for our own business. I suggest you to start with CodeIgniter.
