ওপেন সোর্স ভিত্তিক নানা কর্মকান্ড পরিচালনাকারী যুক্তরাজ্য ভিত্তিক আন্তর্জাতিক সংগঠন ওপেন নলেজ ফাউন্ডেশন নেটওয়ার্কের (ওকেএফএন) বাংলাদেশ অ্যাম্বাসেডর হলেন

নুরুন্নবী চৌধুরী হাছিব। সম্প্রতি আনুষ্ঠানিক ভাবে ওকেএফএনের [১] থেকে আনুষ্ঠানিক এ ঘোষনা দেয়া হয়। অলাভজনক সংস্থা হিসেবে ওকেএফএন [২] ২০০৪ সালে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়। সংগঠনটির নানা কাজের মধ্যে রয়েছে ওপেন স্পেনডিং, স্কুল অব ডেটা, ওপেন জিএলএএম, ওপেন গভর্নমেন্ট ডেটা, ওপেন ট্রান্সপোর্ট, ওপেন সায়েন্স, ওপেন ইকোনমিকস, ওপেন বিবলিওগ্রাফি, ওপেন একসেস, পাবলিক ডোমেইন ইত্যাদি।
বাংলা উইকিপিডিয়ায় নিয়মিত অবদানকারী [৩] নুরুন্নবী চৌধুরী হাছিব বাংলা উইকিপিডিয়া ছাড়াও উইকিমিডিয়া কমনসসহ উইকিমিডিয়া ফাউন্ডেশনের বিভিন্ন প্রকল্পে সক্রিয় তিনি। ওকেএফএনের এ কাজে যুক্ত হতে আগ্রহী যে কেউ ওকেএফএন বাংলাদেশের ই-মেইল গ্রুপে [৪] যোগ দিতে পারবেন।’ মুক্ত সফটওয়্যার [৫] ও বাংলা উইকিপিডিয়া [৬] নিয়ে তাঁর দুইটি বই প্রকাশিত হয়েছে। ওকেএফএন বাংলাদেশের নানা তথ্য পাওয়া যাবে http://bd.okfn.org ঠিকানায়।
