Dear NBC Community Members,
It gives me immense pleasure to share that our Newcastle Bangladeshi Community (NBC) 10th Anniversary Celebration was an outstanding success. This achievement belongs to every one of you who stood with us, supported us, and helped carry our community spirit forward.
We began the evening on time and finished right on schedule, and every part of the program flowed smoothly because of your warm participation and cooperation. The pride and unity you showed reflected the strength of our Bangladeshi heritage here in Newcastle.
Our heartfelt appreciation goes to the wonderful children of Newcastle Bangla School. Their performances, confidence, and cultural spirit were truly inspiring. They remind us that our future generation will proudly carry our traditions forward.
We were deeply honoured by the presence of our Federal Member of Newcastle, Ms. Sharon Claydon MP, who presented an appreciation certificate to NBC and shared her best wishes for our continued success. Her recognition is a moment of pride for all of us.
We were delighted to welcome our former Executive Committee members, who inspired us with their presence. Sharing our journey since 2014 with them reminded us how far we have come as a community.
We also extend our warmest wishes to our Bangladeshi HSC graduates who recently completed a major milestone. We hope they continue to uphold our culture, values, and identity with pride.
Our sincere gratitude goes to all our generous sponsors. Their financial support made it possible for us to organise an event of this scale. This partnership is only the beginning, and we look forward to building stronger and more sustainable collaborations in the future.
A special thank you to all the cultural performers who lit up the stage with their talent and charm. One of the most memorable highlights was the electrifying performance by Bangladeshi students from the University of Newcastle. Their music captivated the entire hall. We are grateful to them for sharing their time, talent, and energy with us.
Our heartfelt thanks also go to the Chittagong Club Australia team for their superb management of the food preparation and service. Their professionalism ensured that everyone enjoyed a warm, delicious, and well-organised dinner experience.
Our 10th anniversary celebration stands as a powerful reminder that we can achieve remarkable things when we come together.
