Hi Mehdi,
Thanks for your framework. I like it and I am currently using it for
my test project.
The only issue I have, Console Reporter does not really fit to my
reporting needs.

I am using NUnit as a test runner and NLog for detailed logging and
the Console Reporter makes my test reports looks not very well.

Is there a way to disable the standard console reporter or customize
it?

Thanks,
Dmitry

Hi Dmitry,

I am glad you like the framework.

Back in V0.8 there was a way to disable reports (as they had been
implemented using TraceSource); but then I moved away from
TraceSource which had the temporary side-effect of not being able to
disable console reports!

Currently you can disable html reports but not the console report. Not
that it is directly related to your question; but you can easily add a
new reporter if you want to. To do so take a look at TicTacToe sample
(you may install it using Bddify.Samples.TicTacToe nuget package) :
http://hg.mehdi-khalili.com/bddify/src/c222f9a5ec35/Bddify.Samples/TicTacToe/CustomTextReporter.cs

If you could please raise an issue on the project home page (http://
hg.mehdi-khalili.com/bddify/issues) I will try to add the support for
disabling and replacing the console reporter.

Cheers,
Mehdi

Thanks Mehdi,

Yes, I am planning to follow your advice and create an additional logging to separate file. But while it is not done, I want to admit that your default HTML logger is awesome. So even now I can review my test results in a very visual form and share them with my management.

That is great. Thanks for the feedback.

If you do not like the bddify specific header you can very easily
customize it. Have a look at Bddify.Samples.Atm to see how.
