We're playing Root tonight which is very loosely based on Star Wars so it's probably ok.   I mean, the emperor is just a nefarious cat right?

This Week - 

Wednesday or Thursday works, lemme know.  Game tbd, but as always, there's too much stuff here and not enough time.

Next week (5/14-15) - Punk D&D

Third week - a variety of musical events seems to be shutting down game night.

Fourth week - there's a federal holiday which might have been renamed Trump day at this rate, but it's Punk D&D so nothing mid week.  

Still looking for gamers for daytime on June 19th.  Old school hex and counter fantasy gaming I think.

I love playing games.  But Lupes has been called into husband duties and is out.  It’s possible the scoutmaster died on a hill based on texts I got so unclear if he’s around.  I would not object to getting burning banners on the board if it’s just the two of us, or you know any game.  The boy is in full testing mode so he’s out.  Who knows maybe another nerd will pry themselves out of the house to throw a game.

No, my kids done.  More concerts week of 21/22.

This week is good if it’s Wednesday, next week no because D&D, following week seems to be out unless we play on a Mon/tuesday, but that’s a problem for future joe.  I don’t envy that guy.

videos were few and not great, this is what I used to learn base game 

I'm going to try and look at advanced rules tonight, I think monsters and heroes would be cool, but not sure how bad it is.

Yeah, I tried some vids, then just went old school and read tge rules.  I don't think it's that bad compared to other hex-wargame games I've played. Turn sequence and reference charts are key.   Seeu Wednesday

Yeah, I think if we do the intro we could probably play it right back with advanced rules, they don’t seem bad.  See you later.

Bruce burned the most banners in the basic game, then we played half the advanced scenario.  A little long but would play faster with more plays.  4p may be too much for a nerd night though, but neat game with some tactical decisions.
