Long live the Old Kings Crown.  In case you couldn't tell, i'm a bit hyped on this one.

The "resources" link has the rulebook and a strategy guide (it also has a teaching guide, but it's not that great.  

Here's the video.  Game only plays four, lemme know who is around.  

Schedule is now - this week (10/22) board gaming, next week (10/29) board gaming.  5th and 12th claimed for PRD&D at the moment but we'll see how the schedule holds.

Apparently the sun goes down in the evening now, so no more soccer practice during the week. I’m in for some board gaming this week.

Alright, it appears the old switcheroo was pulled yet again, updated schedule below.  None of this impacts tomorrow's Old Kings Crown.  The excitement is real, there are numerous links in this thread, can't hurt to look at one of them.  Or don't, I'm just happy to hit the table.  I'm still not drinking but there are a few loose beers here, bring some if you want something specific.  

Wednesday 10/29 - PR D&D

Wednesday 11/5 - Board Games (Old King, got a feeling about this one)

Tuesday 11/11 - Veterans Day.  I may game.  I'm off.  

Wednesday 11/12 - PR D&D (maybe i'll force them to play Old King's Crown)

Wednesday 11/19 - Board Games

Wednesday 11/26 - TBD, but it's Turkey Week, maybe Old King's Crown Solo.  

Friday 11/28 - Dave mentioned gaming on Black Friday, he didn't mention Old King's Crown because he hasn't caught the FEVER yet.  

December - I may stop going to work if they don't pay me and just become a professional board gamer.  That's a thing right?  I have a marketable skill right?

I would enjoy Black Friday gaming. My original hope was for some 40k like in days of yore. I could also throw some Magic that day. Or even a one shot RPG (Dungeon Crawl Classics Joe?)

First - I loved the Old King's Crown.  There's some tricky shit in there that will come out more with more plays but I for sure want to invest the more plays to figure it out.  The player interaction is great and more engaging than some of my "everyone is playing solitaire" games (which I still do enjoy).  It's a keeper.

AND BRUCE WON.  There was a bit of confusion at the end, but only because I wasn't sure what page to look at for the clarification (for reference, it was in the "deadly" description in the book).  This will be on the table again.  

I'll enter into black friday discussions later but off the top of my head, burning banners, XIA, divine right, more Gnomes, old kings crown, all things I'm itching to play that may take a little more time.  likely depends on people and timeframe.  i do have enough spider-man cards to draft though (although the set is designed for 4p draft).
