Welcome to the time of eternal darkness.  What a stupid concept.  Someone get the Teen Titans to go after the farmers!

Tonight - I've got Senior Kutchado and Lord Baltimore on tap for Old Kings Crown.  Start time still 7 or 7:30, I'll start texting later since no normal people check emails on Sundays.  Still one spot.

This week - Wednesday 11/5 is a go if we have people.  Hoping to get Origin Story on the table.  Much much less complicated rules wise than Old King.  Also, likely plays fast enough to play twice.  

Played Molly House again last night with the DC guys, hilarious and absurd game.  Nothing like the table erupting in cheers after a fancy fellow picks you up in a carriage to deliver you anywhere you want (but the gossip it generates...)

11/19 - Moar Bored Games?

Turkey week - free time based on how fast I can binge 5 hours of Stranger Things.

Bruce wins, beats me via tiebreaker!  Kutch 3pts back.  Great game, lots of well designed moving parts.

Still on for Wednesday, seems like we have a Kutch, Origin story on tap.

Yeah, every time I play I find something new out, I think this one really hit it out of the park.

FYI - if you place a kingdom card on the map for any reason, you retain ownership of that card and mark it with a faction marker.  I'm still not sure why one card specifies owner and the other doesn't but that's a universal rule.

Yeah.  Also while soloing (I lost again...*) clarified another rule.  Basically any "action" (it's a defined term, symbol is a circle around the phase it occurs) is limited to once per round.  So the kingdom card that Kutch got granting ambush(?) was only once per round, not once each clash.  Still some pretty powerful cards out there.  

*I was one point down going into the clashes in round 5, I took a shot, and the solo flipped a 13.  A 13!  No one expects a 13!

I went back to work, with no one pay, feels like I’m not doing this right.  Anyway, tomorrow nerd night, post 7:30, I believe I got Lupes and das Kutch currently.  Maybe two games!  Maybe two different games!

Anyway, games tonight hopefully.  Still spots, 2 for origin story and …97!?! for cartographers…what have you done Kutch?

Da Kutch, da Kutch, da Kutch is on fire.

First he notched a victory in Origin Story and the. He colored his was to a tiebreaker victory over Joey in cartographers!  Another tie-breaker loss for the man who is not getting paid.  Kutch has been on the board an astonishing FOUR TIMES this month.  Truly it’s the hair.  

Rumblings of bonus Saturday gaming on the horizon.  Another chance for Kutch to win!  That could also keep my shut down gaming streak going, which is helpful for sanity, thanks people.

That trick taking game was more interesting than I thought it would be.

Yeah, I like Origin Story as a light game, the mechanics are easy enough for non gamers plus there’s still weird powers for semi-pros like us.  Cartographers was great too, can’t wait to play with 100.  Also you may have won but you left a pencil, so I’m the real winner.
