Happy Father's Day and Gaming

Ahoy nerds, happy Dads day to Dads and Dad-related people.  

This week - games before I go to Cleveland.  I'm driving Friday so I'd prefer to play Wednesday night if possible, but if Thursday is the only day we get people that works as well.

Game tbd but this is getting unboxed today ARCS 

also, as some point we're going to have to battle in the Arctic Circle.  

Summer wise I shoud be here mid week almost all the time aside from July 7-11.  

and on August 21 a wednesday, my birthday, we're breaking out the 2nd most complicated game of all time again.  it's Magic Realm august.

GI JOE needs 4, so we'll see who we get.  But ARCS is ready to roll.

Lupes said he can only play Thursday.  Again, i'd prefer wednesday but whatever day people are actually free to come over is best.

update - ARCS on Thursday but we're full at the moment. 

next week - has to be Thursday because punkD&D is Wednesday.

Dave's name is on the board.  Lupes was behind him, jackson further back, and  I was dead last.

But holy shit, Arcs was awesome.  Every game I have is cool, but I know that some are cooler, or more engaging, or less rulesy.  I don't think we're going to find anyone who doesn't like to play ARCS.  It's a area control space combat game with a trick-taking/action following mechanic to drive the game.  Tons of fun.  Want to cancel my trip and play again, but alas, next week.  

Only downside (for us) is it's max 4p.  Not that we often have more than 4, and any more would be too long between turns.  But I can see it playing well at 3 for sure.  ARCS!
