BDA has announced auction of sites ( most of them are 30*40) in BTM
Layout 4th stage II block. The minimum bid amount is 30,000 per
Sq.mtr.
Can some kindly let me know what is the optimum bid rate per sq.mtr
I can bid for ?
I am planning to construct a home Your input is highly appreciated.

how many sq meets would it be for 30 * 40?

Keeping the down trend in mind, i am not sure how many bidders would
be there.

aproximate price of previwould oction would really help.

Do you think people will bid more then 33 lakh?

HUH.... base cost should be 15 lakh..... only then you may get some
good response.

Uncertainity in JOBs, Recession, ....... RE is further gonnna go
down...

Thanks

I think these sites will be sold for more than the bid price at the
auction ( how much higher I don't know ) . Hassle free transaction and
smaller dimension sites at a good layout makes it attractive . It
might not go for Rs.6000 p/sft like it could have gone a year ago..My
bet is that it could go in the 4000 to 5000 range ..
Anyway , if any members happen to attend the auction , please let the
group know how it went .

does it mean other sites did not get any bids?? how authentic is the information. also any other details abt the proceedings ?? normally bda fixes the minimum bid rate at a lower level than what was obtained in the previous auctions at same location. bda announces this previous rate also in the introductory remarks during the auction. was there any previous auctions in this location and what were the rates  ?? any info would be useful to assess if the land prices also have dropped and by how much. hope someone will have the info and share the same with the group.
