The link does not work but you are probably refering to the one page
coloured back page advertisement that BDA has taken out to point out
that the DLF property is not BDA approved. Well, I saw the DLF ad too
in the newspaper and they have clearly mentioned they have approval
for only 4 floors (not the all 18 floors) which is probably there for
earlier plan. Although what seems to amaze me is that there have been
thousand cases of builders duping unsuspecting customers by giving
wrong information in ads (not even mentioning that they have just part
approval or no approval at all) and there will thousands other cases
but what warranted a full page colour ad from a govt agency just for
DLF when the regular practice (if at all they are concerned for the
public, which all of us know they aren't ) is to issue a 2 column 10
centimetre black & white ad some where in the middle of the paper.
I see something fishy here, probably a nexus with the so called local
big builders who cannot beat the DLF price or don't want the
competition in DLF (It's a big name in Delhi & Gurgaon probably bigger
than Mantri, Sobha, Purva, Brigade etc combined). I don't have
anything for DLF or against any other builders but when you see such a
response by a govt agency it makes you feel why they didn't bother to
respond when people lost their money in so many other cases where
builders simply ran away without delivering anything after makinf
false promises. Where were your full page ads then BDA?
