He oversees products directions, software development, datacenter operations and all other technology related activities, providing payment services to hundreds of millions of online users and processing capabilities with 100+ financial institutions representing over 1 trillion China RMB in transaction value annually. Created world record of 105 million online transactions of 20 billion RMB in volume processed in a single day. 

Professional Milestone:
Jingming led the technology restructuring initiative and product overhaul that fueled the biggest turnaround in the company’s history, achieved a 500% jump in valuation in less than 2 years and made Alipay a strong household name in China.

Andreas Weigend, PhD

Professor at Stanford and Berkeley

Andreas Weigend is an expert in data mining and e-business. As the Chief Scientist of Amazon.com, he became known for innovations in measuring, modeling and predicting customer behavior and for the successful application of these ideas to marketing.

Andreas teaches at Stanford University the graduate course “Data Mining and Electronic Business”, as well as in China the executive course “Information and Innovation”

Andreas now works as an independent consultant with customer centric, information rich companies, bringing to them state-of-the-art methodology and his rich experience with collecting and managing information and designing web experiments. He conducts short-term workshops on data strategy, incentive engineering, and information and interaction design that often lead to long-term engagements. Clients include Alibaba, Goldman Sachs, Swiss International Air Lines, Match.com, and Yahoo. He also enjoys advising several cutting-edge startups.
