to Bar Code Scan

Hi, I assume that this bar code scanner could be used with for example the iPad pro since it has a USB port? I also assume it could be used with a windows tablet running full blown windows on it? Since most of them have at least one USB port?

Also what would you all recommend cleaning the barcode screen with ? would Windex work or should I use some kind of eye glass cleaner?

Thanks for any input on these questions.

localisergoogletranslateWiper cleaning wipes can be used. Or even a microfibre
wet, to avoid depositing a film on the glass.
For the USB port there are 2 difficulties.
First, the consumption of the scanner which can exhaust the battery very
quickly.
Then, on the iPhone, for example, the maximum power available on the
communication port is limited by apple, which prevents using a barcode scanner without using a
self-powered hub for example, I never found on battery.
Finally, IOS does not anticipate this use. The scanner may not be recognized
and can not be used. That's why I use a KMS 300 multiblind dongle, which allows
me to take advantage of what Appstore applications offer, when it provides the
possibility of entering the code manually or else there is nothing else to do
use the smartphone camera.
    Best regard, Olivier
