Looks like the grad social + 1st year bar crawl is going to be on the night we were planning to have dinner.. maybe we could actually show up for these things instead? Free food and beer always wins.

 Next Monday 9/15 from 5-7pm we'll be throwing our first **BCS Grad student social** of the year! This will be a big one to welcome the new grad students and kick off the academic year. And to celebrate, we'll be ordering sushi (including veggie-friendly options and additional non-sushi Japanese stuff) for the event, so make sure you come by! There will also be drinks available (21+), so be sure to bring your ID. As always, it will happen in the Grad Student Lounge (46-2033). A bunch of us also met with Jim DiCarlo and will tell you guys about some of our exciting plans for the school year.

 Also, don't forget, the BCS First-year pub crawl (though open to higher years too!) will be taking place right after the social, leaving from the grad student lounge at 7pm.

 If you've been too shy to come to a social til now, this is the one to go to, since there'll be a lot of newcomers. SO, COME!!!
