This is a brief reminder that the AGM is taking place tomorrow following Charles Weir's workshop on planning for the future.
Note the slightly earlier start time of 18:15 for Charles's session - he has to get back to Lancaster to give a lecture in the morning. The AGM will take a maximum of 20 minutes beginning at around 19:45 and will be followed by pizza and refreshments.
After her long service as Treasurer, Olivia has decided not to stand for re-election to the committee, which leaves only four of us. The committee ought to consist of at least six people. Please come forward if you are prepared to stand for election to the committee and/or take on the role of treasurer, secretary or chair. Only BCS members are eligible for these officer roles. We hold very few committee meetings per year, since most matters can be decided via e-mail or WhatsApp.
