Hello!

Maybe my question is a little bit vague, but why Bcolz library doesn't have "groups" like pytable and zarr?

Thank you,
Alex

Hi,

Well, the reason is mainly simplicity.  A bcolz carray or ctable is something that is stored in a directory, so why not use os.path to handle a hierarchy?

Dear Francesc,

Thank you for the reply. I'm just implementing a kind of top-layer to handle a hierarchy for my purposes. Thank you for the very good format!

Best Regards,
Alex
