Hello PsychMinded members! I wanted to remind everyone about this exciting event coming up!

Building Bridges- A community mental health outreach event in conjunction with the psychiatry residents of PROPS 

May 1st 6:30pm at DeBakey High School 

A discussion on the portrayal of mental health in the media led by renowned psychiatrists, community mental health professionals, and spiritual leaders. Topics include depression,  suicide, body image, and challenges faced by the LGBTQ community.  Food will be provided!

We also still need several volunteers to help set up for the event starting at 5:30pm; it's a great opportunity to interact with psychiatry residents and others in the field!
