2. For those interested in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or who want to learn more about this field, the AACAP annual meeting is a great opportunity! It’s a weeklong conference that will be held in San Francisco next fall. Through the Life Members scholarship you can receive $1000 in funding to attend and have access to tons of exciting mentorship events. 3. The APA Foundation is pleased to announce more APA/APAF Fellowships awards are available for the 2019-2020 application cycle! APA/APAF Fellowships and Medical Student programs provide medical students, RFMs and ECPs the experiential learning, training, and professional development they need to be leaders in the field of psychiatry. Our programs offer opportunities to:

• Travel to the APA Annual Meeting
• A 1-month mentorship/externship
• Work with Congress on health policy
• Conduct research of your design
• Expand access to care to minority and underserved populations
• Focus on child psychiatry or substance abuse
• NEW! a correctional public psychiatry fellowship
• Plus, Fellows get exclusive opportunities to be a part of APA leadership councils
