We just added two new events to our calendar:

1) BCM Scholar lecture in psychopharmacology -- New Targets for Psych Drugs with Bryan Roth, MD, PhD. Wednesday, 10/16, 11:30a-1p, N315. (Unsure if lunch provided so bring your own!)

2) Houston Psychiatric Society October Meeting -- Wednesday, 10/16, 6:30-8:30PM, Third Coast (TMC Commons, right next to BCM). Dr. Sandhya Prashad (BCM MD and psych residency alumna) will present on ketamine. Finally, don't forget to join PsychMinded for a potluck in the park tomorrow, October 12 at 12 pm. We will be at Hermann Park and usually meet up at picnic tables near the Miller Outdoor Theatre. This is a perfect opportunity to meet your peers who are interested in psychiatry and ask upperclassmen for advice in an informal setting.
