Hello Psychminded Members,
Just wanted to share this research opportunity with everyone.
The following is from David Mathai (PGY-2), a BCM Psychiatry Resident:
Hi all! I'm a former BCM medical student who stayed on as a Psychiatry Resident and am reaching out now with
a unique research opportunity. There's been a sort of psychedelic renaissance in psychiatric research and society at large. Phase 3 clinical trials are underway
for MDMA in the treatment of PTSD. Other trials are up and running for psilocybin and LSD. Ketamine has emerged as an unprecedented treatment for depression, and while the drug is not widely thought of as a classic psychedelic agent...it really is. I have
an idea for a systematic review that I think would be high-impact and a great project for anyone interested in Psychiatry or this area of research. Please email me with your interest and a copy of your CV if you want to get involved: dma...@bcm.edu. Bonus
points if you've worked on a review before. Thanks for your interest!
Halloween Movie Night
We also wanted to invite you to Halloween Movie Night with BCM and UTH Psychiatry

Unsane,

current residency program director. Dinner will be provided for all who RSVP. Halloween costumes welcome!
