Below is the interesting thing to play around. ( For both Kids & Expert ).

The Raspberry Pi is a credit-card-sized single-board computer developed in the UK by the Raspberry Pi Foundation with the intention of promoting the teaching of basic computer science in schools.

1) Very cheap   - $ 35   ( soon they all launch for 25$)

2) It has Broadcomm SoC (System on Chip) , ARM 700 MH processor ,  Video core GPU, and 512 MB ram . 

3) It does not have storage or hard disc but has SD card slot for booting and persistence storage.

-> Almost mini computer.  

-> You can load linux OS special for this device from this http://www.raspberrypi.org

-> You can build a computer , STB, Robots, home security systems so may awesome things around it.

-> Google has developed a coder app which can be used in schools to teach and learn technical and simple things.  http://www.raspberrypi.org/google-coder/

One of my team mate is volunteer teaching here in citizen school and making use of it to teach simple and interactive apps , game designing. Kids are learning much faster using such interactive stuff or games.
