I've just received the email copied below in which someone appears to have contacted me through conversations on our B.C. Interior Birding mailing list posted on a ABA News page of international birding lists. Wouldn't mind if I thought that it was a genuine birding enquiry but that isn't my interpretation. Any way to limit the addresses being given out so broadly and easily every time one wishes to comment without completely cutting off access to genuine birders who might wish to communicate? I  was surprised to see just how open it was.
