Namo Buddhaye folks,

Now when you have raised this issue in public and government buddy, then its our duty now to take necessary action for the same. Its not only happening with these guys but still Manuvaad consist in "Air India - In the air of India"  . These f***** people are abusing our Baba Saheb openly whenever they want and still we are only giving suggestion to one-another :( No need to say "Jai Bhim" till the time we are not ready to be a part

Me and my organization use to avail services of Air India and after read this statement i will suggest my colleagues to stop using it till the time "Air India" don't take a positive action for the same.

Subject :- Complaint u/s 3(1)(ii), 3(1)(iii), 3(1(X) 2(1)(XV)& Section 4 Regarding Causing Injury, insult or annoyance, Derogatory act, insult intimidation and humiliation against Mr. P BALACHANDRA Manager Service Staff no 6270 Air-India GSD/EMD, CSI Airport Mumbai requesting for registering under the S/C & S/T (prevention of Atrocity Act, 1989).

Respected Sir,
We, the undersigned Mr. S.S Swami and Vilas Jadhav working as Service Engineers in Air-India at above said address bring to your notice the subject matter for which we submit as under:

We say that, we belong to the Scheduled Caste Community and serving for Air-India as service Engineers and allocated in group "E" for maintenances of Aircraft equipments in EMD-I.

We submit that on 2ndApril 2010 when we both reported on duty, Mr. Balachandra who is our "E" Group in-charge allocated the work. Mr. Balachandra manager service Engineer started harassing humiliating and discriminating for last few months. We both requested him to stop the harassment like shuffling the Tech Asst, not keeping communication regarding the work, using bad words every time and in this way we along with some of our people (staff) have been victimized. Especially Mr. Balachandra started shuffling the Tech Asst. due to which job was hampered and all group staff become nervous. Being a representative of GSD/EMD of AIEG, I requested Mr. Balachandra to keep the harmony in the workshop and to let us know the reasons why he was targeting us by misusing his powers. We feel that the reason Mr. Balachandra was harassing us is because we are representatives of AIEG and AI SC/ST Association. Once he asked Mr. Swami that the log book has to filled at same time whereas the practice is that the log book has to be fill up at the end of the day. He once told us that he was instructed by Mr. K. Suresh EMD In-charge, to give complaint of Mr. Swami in writing so that he can fix him by issuing the charge-sheet to him. Therefore it is evident that Mr. Balachandra at the behest of Mr. Suresh was intentionally discriminating against us due to prejudiced mind because of our caste and union affiliation.

On 2nd April 2010 at around 8.45 Am Mr. Swami and myself again requested him to stop shuffling the Tech Assts which will hamper the job and will cause big revenue loss to our company which is already in the red. But Mr. Balachandra started abusing Mr. Swami and me in front of all the staff in the name of caste by saying "TUM TUMHARE UNION KO LEKEY AAO YA FIR SC/ST ASSOCIATION KO LEKEY AAO MERA KUCH NAHI BIGAD SAKTE HAI AUR AGAR TUM TUMHARE AMBEDKAR KO BHI LEKE AAYE WOH BHI MERA JAATA BAAKA NAHI KAR SAKTA HAI".
(YOU CAN BRING YOUR UNION OR SC/ST ASSOCATION NOBODY CAN DO ANYTHING TO ME AND EVEN IF YOU BRING YOUR AMBEDKAR HE ALSO CANNOT REMOVE/ BEND MY PUBIC HAIR) All the staff present were angry and some of them confronted him telling him that they would not tolerate this kind of insult especially to Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. However, he continued shouting, challenging and threatening us in-front of our staff. He stated that I will see how you both are going to work here in this premises. It appears that Mr. K. Suresh EMD In-charge is one of the persons who bears prejudice against and who has hatched this conspiracy. Whereas this matter was delt with top management including Mr. Hardas officiating GM SBU-GH & Mr. Hingorani Dy. GM SBU-GH time to time verbally when conducting meeting with them but was ignored. The representation of signing campaign of all the employees against Mr. K. Suresh AGM EMD Incharge of dated 17/11/2009 and complaint for Non Co-operation of date 10/12/2009 and complaint of manager service Engineers dated 11/02/2010 are Annexed herewith as Exhibit "A-1", A"-2" & "A-3. collectively For your ready reference. Inspite of that, the management has not taken any cognizance and ultimately it result, the fight between the workers and major IR problems has been raised. It seems that the entire chain of management that includes Mr. Hingorani and Mr. Hardas is supporting to Mr. K. Suresh and hence held responsible to such situation. This act amounts to the offence punishable u/s 2(1) (xv) of the S/C & S/T (prevention of atrocity act, 1989).

In the aforesaid facts and circumstances, we call upon you to register our complaint under above sections of S/C & S/T (prevention of Atrocity Act, 1989), investigate the matter and arrest the culprits at the earliest.
