to BCI(The Buddhist Community of India)
The History of BCI is related to me (Satish Bauddh). There used to be
a common person, his name was Mr. Ashok Raj Vimal, now a days known as
Mr. Ashok Raj Bauddh. He met me and he often used to come to my home
and we would discuss on Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s legacy as well as Lord
Buddha and Buddhism. We used to spend hours on these topics. I was
very keen to learn Buddhism. Then suddenly one fine day Mr. Ashok came
to my home along with a holy person, who was known in Ghaziabad as
Master Charan Singh Bauddh. Actually Master Ji was very old and his
age was around 80 years. This was the personality who not only
impressed me but inspired a lot and he showed me the path of Buddhism.
With the help of him I joined a Buddhist Organization to spread
Buddhism; I worked in this organization for about four and half years
but I was not getting opportunity to learn and spread Buddhism even I
was not allowed to put my own views and effort for the sake of
spreading Buddhism. You know it was just because of internal politics
of the designated persons of that organization which was called that
this organization was built by Dr. Ambedkar. But what to do with it if
it is not working properly. Well still I keep working in the same
organization to spread Buddhism. At that point of time Master Ji got
sick and his health started falling day by day and one day he left all
of us and we all became alone without him. Then that point of time I
decided to spread Buddhism with more dedication and on 11 November
2007, with Mr. Ashok Raj Bauddh, I formed BCI (The Buddhist Community
of India) in Ghaziabad. After forming BCI, I got the support from Mr.
Sundar Bauddh, Tarang Bauddh, Satish Buaddh, Naresh Gautam, Hoshiyar
Singh, Sarita Bauddh and Suman Bauddh and today we are the team of
more than 300 young people.
