Hey there, Durham!
We've all made the big transition into spring and we're back in the
swing of things! Thanks for your patience with this; it has indeed
taken us a few weeks to really get things rolling again, but now that
Kym and Rebekah are back from Central America, our entire board is
here and ready to go. We've got some really awesome programs and
shows planned, and the space is looking better and better (Thanks
Jason, Brian and Sam at the scrap exchange for donating the sweet
couches!)
We've been talking to a ton of folks about what they would like to see
in the space, and we've spent a lot of time brainstorming and
developing our own ideas. Below is the start of a schedule of events
that we have come up with. As always, we are open to suggestions and
programming ideas, so please send us a message if you want to
contribute in any way to the calendar!

It's been really amazing to see the community step up and embrace this
space as its own. So many thanks to everybody who has donated time,
money, ideas, curtains, raffle prizes, couches, tables, food, paint,
rugs (we need more rugs!) and good cheer. So far, we have been
successful in keeping BCHQ a free space that is accessible to
everyone, and ANY amount of continued support really makes this
possible. Please go to www.myspace.com/bchq to donate, or send a
check to:
