Happy 6 months!
Bull City Headquarters
Lets all raise a hearty cheer to six successful months of building
BCHQ! You owe yourself a pat on the back for helping foster community
growth and commitment to Durham through art, music, education and just
being awesome. If you've ever set foot in BCHQ you've shown support
and love. Yay!
We've got some great events coming up (see end of letter for a list).
We're bringing back DIY nights on Wednesdays, setting up computers
with internet access (!!), starting a tutoring program and Queer Youth
Drop-In nights in October, and the bike co-op is opening a clinic on
Tuesday nights.
We're also in the process of planning a fundraiser, as we're in an
unexpected financial rent pinch regarding loss of funds we were
counting on! We're fully aware that there is no such thing as "spare
change", but we've got to ask for help, and would truly appreciate
anything you can give. You can donate on our myspace page
