Attached is a flyer for tele-behavioral health services for individuals impacted by Covid-19. Please feel free to share broadly.

 

The State of New Mexico has a support line specifically for healthcare workers and first responders, 1-855-507-5509.

 

Attached are also a flyer for flu shots for tomorrow and also another for a turkey give away.

2 – First Nations Testing Update

Attached is the updated flyer for First Nations’ weekly Covid19 community testing event. First Nations Community HealthSource will be moving to the Department of Health (DOH) app (https://cvtestreg.nmhealth.org/ ). Everyone needing to be tested will need to sign up with this app. It’s user friendly, quick and accessible. The FNCH website and COVID direct telephone line sign up will no longer be available. Please share as needed. Thanks

5 – Meals for Neighbors without Addresses

Thanksgiving Week Homeless Schedule 2020

 

NOTE: This year there will be no large congregate meals offered by Joy Junction, Steelbridge, Salvation Army and La Mesa Presbyterian Church due to public health safety orders.

Meals and services will be provided by agencies except where a closure is noted.

 

November 24 (Tuesday)

  • 11:00 am to 1:00 pm -- Steelbridge will hand out “meals to go” at each of these four sites:

2021 2nd St. NW (north of I-40), Los Altos Park area, Caravan parking lot (7605 Central NE, east of Louisiana) and Coors/Central.

  • The Rock at Noon Day will give out “meals to go” Tuesday-Friday from 12:00 to 12:30 pm (but there will be no clothing distribution all week).

*****All other sites will have regular schedule*****

 

November 25 (Wednesday)

  • Albuquerque Healthcare for the Homeless (AHCH) will close at 3:00 pm.
  • Joy Junction will hand out individual boxed meals from their Lifeline of Hope mobile food trucks.

Thanksgiving Day (Thursday)

  • Albuquerque Healthcare for the Homeless (AHCH) will be closed.
  • First Nations (all sites) will be closed.
  • HopeWorks Day Shelter will close at 12:00 noon (Behavioral Health will be closed all day). Coffee and donuts, 7:30 to 8:00 am. Meal served 10:30 to 11:30 am.
  • The Rock at Noon Day will give out “meals to go” from 12:00 to 12:30 pm.
  • 2:00 to 3:30 pmGood Shepherd Center will give out a Thanksgiving meal “to go” (instead of the brunch this year).

 

November 27 (Friday)

  • First Nations (all sites) will be closed.
  • HopeWorks Day Shelter will close at 12:00 noon (Behavioral Health will be closed all day). Coffee and donuts, 7:30 to 8:00 am. Meal served 10:30 to 11:30 am.
  • The Rock at Noon Day will give out “meals to go” from 12:00 to 12:30 pm.

December 2 (Wednesday)

  • 12:00 to 1:30 pmFirst Nations (FNCH) will give out a Thanksgiving meal “to go” at the All Nations Wellness and Healing Center, 6416 Zuni Rd SE (between San Pedro and Louisiana).
