Sidwell + States

First of all, no regular practice Friday. We're playing Sidwell at 4:00, on their turf field (presumably nicer than Norwood for once). 

If you'd like to arrange your own transportation there that's fine. I'm told parking is available and it should be within biking distance. Otherwise, meet at the stairs over the Bethesda metro station at 3:00, and we'll metro down to Tenleytown as a team and walk the rest of the way. If you'd like to tell us you're coming so we know not to leave without you, then do that, but otherwise just show up by 3:00.

Secondly, the following players are currently on the roster for states and have paid their membership fees and signed their waivers:

ADRIAN DICKER

ETHAN EBINGER

SAM SHOYER

AUBREY WAHL

TEDDY WEISMAN

SAUL WILDAVSKY

WILL YETVIN

The following players are on the roster, but have NOT paid their membership fees and/or signed their waivers, and need to do that ASAP:

JACOB SIEGEL

JAKE ULLMAN

COLIN VERSTEEG

DIEGO WAHL

(note: it's possible that you've paid your fee and it's just taking a while to process. Let me know if that's the case.)

If your name is on the second list, fix that fast! States is in less than two weeks.

If your name is on neither list, and you're planning on attending states, LET US KNOW NOW. You don't have much time left!

It'd be really nice if you'd do that before Wednesday, which is the DEADLINE for getting your name on the roster if you want to play. Also, if you're under 18, remember to fill out a medical form and get it to Aubrey's dad (I handed these out on Sunday and I'll have more on Tuesday/Friday). 

I don't have an exact start time for the tournament (I will work on getting that this week, but it's probably some time in the late morning) but we'll be at Banneker Park & Recreation Center in Catonsville, MD (same as last year for those of you who went).

Alright, I just received a crapload of info about States, but I won't put it all up just yet because the tournament director isn't using Score reporter so there's no non-confusing way to do it.

However, a quick summary of the most important info: our first game is at 9:00 on Saturday, against Churchill. We're playing three games, with the last one ending at 3:30. If we move on, our first game Sunday will be at 10:00.
