They are messing with an entire Muslim community at Berkeley....

Assalaamu Alaikum fam,

So I just received word from Dr. Hatem that he has been receiving threats and hate mail for hosting the Islamophobia Conference at Boalt this Fri-Sat. We need our people to go out in numbers and show the Muslim community's presence. We also need folks to volunteer with registration and brothers, in particular, to help out with security, given the current situation.

It's gonna be an amaaaazing program featuring speakers like Tariq Ramadan and local scholars as well iA (hope you guys caught Tariq Ramadan's lecture today!), so please come out and show your support. I know it's Cal Day weekend, and many of you will be working on welcoming new members to our community, but if you can make it out for some part of the program, you will not regret it iA!
