Christmas vacations starting from 13th Dec itself?

Hi All,

According to the Diary they were going to start on 20th Dec.

It seems they have changed that to 13th Dec now.

Do they have such a huge Xmas vacation every year?

Only for Kindergarten it is huge ( maybe every year ). Not for higher classes.

Class 1 has last exam on Dec 17.

but really to many holidays at BCBS, Christmas vacation nearly for 1month(13-Dec to 9th JAN)

I think its good for Kindergarten to have many holidays. If parents were asked to vote,

I would have said YES for more holidays.

Anyways our young boys will lose this freedom and time to enjoy with family

once they enter senior school later.

I thought the principal had said there were no exams till 3rd standard.

Yes Hemang... there are no exams... they are now called "assessments". They are like checkpoints and grades are given A/B/C/D.

No marks are given.

Can any of you pls confirm if christmas vacation starts from 14 Dec? Also my son suddenly tells us he needs to go in color dress tmrw? I know it's too late... but appreciate your response.. he's in LKG A!

Yes, today is color day at school as Santa Claus will be coming. There was a note in the diary about it. Also snacks will be served at school.

Vacations start from 13-Dec.

No. I don't think its a holiday. Bus driver did not mention anything. Holiday starts from Friday.

I think that message applies to 1 st and higher only who had assessments. Not to LKG. I will call the driver and ask.

I called up Stanley bus driver of route 4. Today is holiday for LKG also. But he said bus will run tomorrow. I think he is not aware & their vacation s may already have started from today.

If someone can confirm about next two days from school admin that will help.

Tomorrow 11/12/13 will be a holiday. Tests / Exams postponed to Monday 16th December 2013. - From PRINCIPAL BCBS

If u read this SMS again carefully, only today 11 Dec 2013 ( 11/12/13) is a holiday.

So the bus driver is right. Tomorrow 12/12/13 LKG classes with be open.
