BCARS,

I just spoke with Tug Turner as I see him almost every day. He is recovering/rebounding well. His chemotherapy treatments went as expected and seem to have done the job. We walk 4 to 5 blocks, at least 4 times a week. His strength is returning and his hair is growing back. He and Kathy just returned from FL where he went kayaking in the ocean. But he reported to me he visited Maillon Diamond up in Altoona hospital yesterday. Maillon is not doing well. He is a shadow of his former self, has tubes and hoses connected to him and his extremities are bloated from liquids. He is coherent and recognizes that his time is short. He is not isolated so he can see visitors. Tug said there was some discussion about moving him to Johnstown for “rehab”???????? That’s all I have.
