All concerned (ALCON)

Reference today's subject of the changing landscape of Bedford society. This isn't Mayberry anymore.
There are many BCARS members who are familiar with firearms and also have concealed carry permits.
However, as a certified NRA firearms instructor for pistol and rifle, and "Personal protection
inside the home" and "Personal protection outside the home", I can't emphasize enough that just having a carry
permit and owning a firearm isn't enough. If you plan to include a firearm in your protection plan, go to the range at least
every 6 months. Practice, practice, practice. Ammo is available again. No excuses.

Anyone who would like to "brush up" on their shooting skills, I would be happy to accompany you to the range and share
my skills and expertise with you. You can't get "too much" practice.  How often you practice and how familiar you are with a firearm
may, unfortunately, come up some day in a courtroom.
