COME ENJOY THE POEMS OF BROOKLINE POETS young and adult

CARING FOR OUR EARTH

October 22, 2014, 7 to 8:20 p.m.
Hosted by Judith Steinbergh, Brookline Poet Laureate Brookline Public Library, Main Branch Hunneman Hall. Free.

Brookline Poets of all ages will read one poem each related to the natural world. Wildlife, garden, forest, seaside, pond life, watery places, rocks and minerals, human structure, weather, seasons, light and darkness, the distant galaxies. We honor with each poem some aspect of the natural world we wish to protect or preserve. Don’t miss this chance to hear your friends and colleagues, children and teens weave the music and image of their poetry into Caring for Our Earth. Hope to see you there.

Sponsored by the Brookline Commission for the Arts, Town of Brookline and co-sponsored by Climate Action Brookline
