2014 Spring Academy After Hours -- TENTATIVE Course Dates:
Mondays: (4:30 PM - 7PM): March 10, 17, 24, 31; April 7, 21, 28; May 5.
Tuesdays: (4:30 PM - 7PM): March 11, 18, 25; April 1, 8, 22, 29; May 6.
Wednesdays: (4:30 PM - 7PM): March 5, 12, 19, 26; April 2, 9, 23, 30.

CALL FOR INSTRUCTORS AND NEW COURSES FOR THE 2014 SPRING AAH PROGRAM
Greetings!
This message goes out to Academy After Hours instructors -- old, new, and aspiring :)
We are looking to confirm old instructors, set days for tried and true courses, find new instructors, and try new courses for our spring 2014 program.
The pay is $42.82 per hour, and each course runs about 20 hours in class (8 weekly sessions, 2.5 hours per session), with 4 hours of prep time included, for a total of 24 paid hours (that's nearly $1,000 per class). Please note that each course is only offered one day per week (Mondays, Tuesdays, etc).
Please contact me via email if you would like to offer a course this spring. See below for the details I will need from each instructor who plans to offer a new course.
For those of you who are new to the program, here is some information:
I will need a course title and a concise course description (for any new course), as well as the day you would like to offer the course (for any course), no later than Friday, July 19th.
The brochure will be made available online by early August. Registration will begin in mid-August.
In the meantime, here are the tentative dates and times of the 2014 Spring Academy After Hours program, depending on the day:

Please note that BCA faculty meetings generally take place on the first Tuesday of each month.
The entire 2014 Spring Academy After Hours program is tentatively scheduled to run from March 10th
t o May 20th.
FOR NEW COURSES, we will need some information for the brochure:
1. Course Title
2. Course description (50 words -- see samples online for examples)
3. Grade levels (5th-8th? 6th-8th? 7th-8th?) -- note that wider ranges make it easier to gather enough students to run the class.
4. Day (Mondays, Tuesdays, etc)
