NOTICE

In connection with the college day celebrations, it has been decided to conduct talents day competitions.  These competitions will be held on a class- wise basis.  Each class will be given a maximum of 30minutes to present their activities. 

          The leader of the team of each class has to give in writing the details of the events which the team would like present to              Mrs. Deepthi Udyavar on or before 18th March 2011.

The programmes will be accepted only after screening. Further details regarding rules and regulations will be put up on the Notice Board.

Screening will be done on the following dates:

24, 25 and 26th of March

Unscreened team programmes will not be allowed to perform on the competition day.

RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR TALENTS DAY COMPETITIONS 2011

                                                                                                                                                                                                                               Date: 14-03-2011

1.     Time allotted for each class is 30 minutes.  A warning bell will be given at the end of 29th minute.  No extra time will be given.

2.     Presenting team should be ready 10 minutes before their presentation.  There will be negative marking for late presentations.

3.     Presentation should include:

a.     Minimum of three different items, maximum of 5.

b.     Solo items may include  singing, mono act, mimicry etc. (excluding dance )

c.      Group items should include minimum of 3 participants. It may include skit, mime, singing etc. (excluding dance )

d.     Fire works, birds, animal and vehicles are prohibited.

4.     If above rules are disobeyed, such teams will be disqualified.

5.     Abusive languages and vulgarity will lead to disqualification.

6.     Dance performances of any kind are strictly prohibited.

Prizes:

Best MC                    - I & II

Best performer     - I & II

Best group              - I & II

Best class                 - I, II & III

Best stage arrangement - I

 

              Participants and background music players should be from the same class.
