A reputable and specialist Geotechnical client is looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer with 10+ years of consulting experience to assist with the growth of their Calgary Office. This is a strategic hire and the President is looking for the right individual to help develop the Calgary team on both a technical and managerial level.
Some of the key attributes of a potential candidate will be
- A strong engineer and technical leader
- Capable of mentoring staff and reviewing technical work
- Proven project management skills
- Has client contacts and proven business development experience and success
- Has mining and/or oil sands consulting engineering experience
- Capable of assisting with office management
- Good fit with flexible structure and likes relative autonomy to lead both projects and staff.
