METRO VANCOUVER - Surrey RCMP are searching for a man who has been
luring teenage girls over the Internet and then demanding sex or money
from them.
Police say the man is believed to be involved in at least three three
(Greg- This word is repeated twice for no reason. Get a spell checker

around 93rd Avenue and 126th Street.
The first incident occurred at Senator Reid elementary on Nov. 27 when
a 16-year-old girl agreed to meet a man she had been in contact with
over the Internet.
(Greg-Why not if you are going to do one of these things meet at a
McDonald's or inside a mall? Bring a friend until you are
comfortable.)
When she arrived, she was approached by a South Asian man who had his
face covered and was carrying a canister of pepper spray. He demanded
sex and the girl ran toward the school where a caretaker was working.
On Monday, at 2 a.m., a man with a similar description accosted two
teenage girls in the area of 125th Street and 92nd Avenue. His face
was also covered, but this time he brandished a knife while demanding
money or sex, police said.
Police said he then grabbed one of the girls but they managed to run
to a nearby home as they called 911 on a cellphone. Although the man
chased them, the girls managed to hide and he left the area on foot.
Later that day at 11 p.m., a 17-year-old girl went to Senator Reid to
meet a man she had been in touch with over the Internet and whom she
believed was an old acquaintance. Instead, she was met by a South
Asian man who was about 20 years old and had a knife.
(Greg-Next time get him to send you a pic to confirm. Make sure he is
holding a newspaper of the day so you can confirm it is recent.)
Similar to the other cases, the man's face was covered by a bandanna.
The girl was sexually assaulted before she managed to get to a
neighbour's house and call police.
Surrey RCMP Sgt. Roger Morrow said it's believed all three sexual
assaults may be related.
Police are reminding parents to speak with their children about
conversing with people over the Internet. Anyone with information is
asked to call Const. Bruce Crabb at 604-599-7682.

(Greg-It was mentioned in another newspaper that the caretaker at the
school called police and let the female in which is great. Hopefully
this rapist gets caught.)
