HA Associate Shot Dead In Funeral Procession For Patch Holder Who Died In Prison

Hells Angels associate killed in Marin County on Saturday night was
identified as a 27-year-old San Leandro man who had attended a Hells
Angel funeral earlier that day on the Peninsula, authorities said
Sunday.
The victim, whose name was not released pending notification of
family, was shot at about 8:15 p.m. Saturday while riding in a white
Chevy pickup truck that was leading a procession of Hells Angels
motorcyclists through Marin to Sonoma County.
Sheriff's investigators said someone in a red sport-utility vehicle,
possibly a Dodge Durango, opened fire on the Chevy pickup on
northbound Highway 101 between Tiburon Boulevard in Mill Valley and
the Paradise Drive exit in Corte Madera. The victim was struck in the
upper body.
The driver of the pickup truck, a member of the motorcycle club,
veered off the freeway at Paradise Drive and called 911 from the pay
phone at California Highway Patrol headquarters in Corte Madera. The
victim was rushed to Marin General Hospital, where he was pronounced
dead.

phone after a shooting? I know ppl who wouldn't go to a hospital or
call 911 after a violent incident preferring to find a street medic.)
Sheriff's Sgt. Keith Boyd said an "altercation" on the highway
preceded the shooting, but it was unclear whether incident was
connected to the motorcycle association.
"We're not sure whether this was a targeted incident or a random act
of violence," Boyd said.
The red SUV exited the freeway and escaped. It was unclear whether the
other Hells Angels members chased the vehicle and obtained the license
plate number, but none was provided to investigators.
said he had no indication the Hells Angels are trying to find the
killer themselves to dispense "street justice" on their own.
"We're hoping that the members of the club will be open and honest and
provide as much information as possible," he said.

Anyone who saw the vehicles on northbound Highway 101 between 7:30 and
8:20 p.m. Saturday is asked to call the sheriff's investigations unit
at 499-7265. The red SUV might have damaged windows.
Earlier Saturday, the victim attended memorial services on the
Peninsula for Carl "J.R." Serrano, a member of the Hells Angels
Motorcycle Club Frisco chapter in San Francisco. Serrano, 56, died of
cancer on May 4 in a prison in North Carolina, according to Duggan's
Serra Mortuary in Daly City.
There was a viewing at the mortuary Friday night, attended by 50 to
100 Hells Angels members and other mourners. A memorial service was at
the mortuary from approximately 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, and about
200 people attended.
Daly City police parked across the street from the mortuary to monitor
both services, a standard procedure for Hells Angels funerals, said
Daly City police Lt. John Gamez.
"It's just a routine to make sure there's no rival club members in the
area," Gamez said. "It went very smoothly ... no indication anything
was going on."
But according to a mortuary spokesperson, investigators took the
unusual step of coming into the mortuary after the mourners had left
Friday and making copies of the guest book and family photographs.

"It wasn't our department who did that," Gamez said. "There could be
other agencies involved in intelligence gathering. No uniformed police
officers were in there, and no one went in there at my direction."

After the memorial service Saturday, a procession of Hells Angels rode
to San Francisco, then came back through Daly City on their way to a
burial service at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Colma, Gamez said.

Federal and state officials last week made the biggest drug bust ever
in
Honolulu International Airport history. Police and U.S. agents
arrested 19-
year-old Crystal York on Wednesday after she stepped off a flight from

Francisco. After consenting to a pat-down, law enforcement officers
found a
package containing 12 pounds of crystal methamphetamine (or "ice")
taped
around her waist. Two other men were also arrested in the case,
including 44-
year-old Carl Serrano -- York's boyfriend -- and island resident
Robert
Martinez, 59. Court documents filed this week show Serrano is a member
of the
San Francisco chapter of the Hells Angels motorcycle group. York told
investigators she was supposed to have delivered the drug to Serrano,
who
would then bring it to Martinez. A similar transaction took place last
year,
York said. At a hearing yesterday, York was determined to be a flight
risk
and was ordered to remain in jail until her trial. Meanwhile, federal
agents
are reportedly investigating whether the incident is related to a
possible
attempt by the Hells Angels to enter the island drug trade. Officials
say the
motorcycle group is heavily involved in the methamphetamine trade on
the East
Coast, and has been investigated in several other cities nationwide.

Calif. man in drug ring
sentenced to 30 years
A 45-year-old California man convicted of helping to bring more than
12 pounds of raw methamphetamine into Hawaii a year ago will spend the
next 30 years in prison.
U.S. District Judge David Ezra yesterday sentenced Carl Serrano to 360
months in prison from a range of 292 to 365 months.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Lou Bracco said the government had asked for
the maximum sentence for Serrano, citing numerous prior felony drug
convictions.
A federal jury convicted Serrano and Robert Martinez, 60, of
conspiring to possess and distribute the drug and for their assistance
in bringing the drug into the state.
Martinez, a Hawaii resident, in February was sentenced to life in
prison. He had more than five felony drug convictions, Bracco said.
In the April 1996 incident, authorities arrested Crystal York at
Honolulu Airport for allegedly hiding more than 12 pounds of
methamphetamine around her waist. York, 20, pleaded guilty, cooperated
with authorities and was sentenced to three years in prison.

responsible for the worst homicide in Surrey history. You would think
the police and authorities would use this as an excuse to crackdown on

dealing, rape, armed robbery and motorcycle theft and child

as well as phony currency and witness intimidation and obstruction of
justice. They have been known to bribe and scare law enforcement
officers and judges into doing their bidding. These ppl must be
rooted
out of the Cdn justice system. Two judges have actually done their
job
and declared HAMC a criminal org and the Victoria Times-Colonist is
calling for it to be banned as a terrorist org.

The White Rock chapter Sgt.Of Arms, Villy Roy Lynnerup, recently was
arrested for trying to board an airplane at YVR
with a loaded firearm. Was probably going to crash the plane into the
Downtown courthouse or hold the passengers hostage in exchange for

release of Moms Boucher and all imprisoned full patch members. All
the
Hell's Angels, their supporters, associates etc. should be imprisoned
for twenty years
their children put in foster care and their assets seized.
Ppl are trying to get HAMC listed as a terrorist org. If you support

then write letters to editors of local newspapers and your local MP.
As well John Les the solicitor-general of BC before he resigned has
advocated banning
the wearing of gang colours such as biker patches in bars. Perhaps
John VanDongen can finish the job he started. Since HA
is
known to frequent Brandi’s and the Cecil and has links to
various bars in BC that would be an improvement. The gang has a
history of intimidating
bartenders, infiltrating unions involved in the bar industry, beating
and killing strippers and beating customers to death at random for no
reason. Contact your MLA as well as the local media and tell them you
want this implemented sooner rather than later.
VPD is appealing again for info about the homicide of Maria Yvette
Monzon who was shot dead on the westside of Vancouver. She was killed
by HA but the police have never stated that. There is a reward.
Colleen Reiter (Ryder?) of Surrey was killed by HAMC but the RCMP
refuse to confirm this.
