2012 BC Winter Open

Dear BCPA members and friends of the BCPA:

The contest roster for the 2012 Winter Open is now posted at

This is shaping up to be an exciting contest. However, in order to
make this contest a success we are still need volunteers. If you will
not be competing in this contest, especially if you live in the
Greater Vancouver or Fraser Valley area, please contact me to find out
how you can help. In particular, we need volunteers for spotting and
loading, expediting (relaying attempts from the lifters), assistance
at the head table with scorekeeping and timekeeping, and general help
with setting up and breaking down the venue. We are a small
organization and our ability to run contests depends on the support of
our members. If you love this sport and want it to grow, come out and
show your support!

On another note, I have received some requests for entry forms for the
2012 Nationals:

I will be sending these out soon. If you are requesting an entry form
for Nationals, it would be helpful if you could tell me which contest
results you are using as your qualifying total.
