There is just one week left to register for the Purgatory Road
Race!!!
In only one week, the Boston-based cycling team, Green Line Velo,
launches The Purgatory Road Race in Sutton, Ma. Named for its
proximity to the Purgatory Chasm State Park, this race is the newest
edition to the NEBRA Ranking Series and the Cycling Made Real New
England Women’s 3/4 Race Series.
Purgatory offers cyclists a 10.1 mile loop over some of New England’s
most scenic terrain. Highlights include a sweeping descent behind the
Purgatory Chasm State Park, a long set of rolling hills, and a
demanding 1km climb (please seee map below). Open to a full range of
women’s and men’s fields, the Purgatory Road Race welcomes a wide
range of participants.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Sutton Schools Solar
Project, a green energy project aimed at installing solar panels at
the Simonian Early Learning Center.
