Hello BCDA Team,

As CMS transitions from BPCI-A to the TEAM (Transforming Episode Accountability Model), I would like to understand how BCDA plans to support this new model. Specifically:

• Will BCDA provide access to claims data pertinent to TEAM, including any new FHIR resources or fields introduced?

• How will the attribution model within BCDA accommodate the requirements of TEAM, especially concerning patient assignment and episode tracking?

• Are there planned updates to the API endpoints or data structures to align with TEAM's specifications?

Any insights or timelines regarding BCDA's integration with the TEAM model would be greatly appreciated.

[Beneficiary Claims Data API (BCDA) Community]

Hi Ryan, 

Thank you for your interest! At this time, TEAM participants are eligible to receive baseline and performance year claims data from CMS via the Expanded Data Feedback Reporting (eDFR) platform on the CMS Enterprise Portal.  

The BCDA team is currently working with the TEAM model to determine how our API can improve the participation experience for TEAM participants and ultimately improve care delivery for Medicare beneficiaries. We will provide updates here as they become available.
