Hi All,
We are new to the BCDA API and are experiencing some errors trying to pull down the data. The client setup 1 IP address but we are getting unauthorized.
Met with our internal IT team and they said we should have the client authorize 2 IP's as they rotate dynamically.

Before I request from the client, I wanted to post here to see if anyone else has experience.

I assume the client and secret key remain the same, if we add a 2nd IP but will rotating IP's continue to give an issue when trying to pull data down?

Regards,
Dina

Hi Dina,

BCDA allows up to 8 IP addresses for each model entity's credentials. To add or change the IP addresses, you'll need to have your client revoke and create new BCDA credentials from 4i or ACO-MS. Doing so will issue a new client ID and client secret for you to use. As long as the client's IP only rotates between the addresses you add, you should not run into any issues.

Visit our website to review the user roles in 4i or ACO-MS required to manage your BCDA credentials.

Thanks,
The BCDA Team
