Hi Avi,
Thank you for the questions! BCDA relies on CCLF8 files to determine the enrollees attributed to each model entity, so the timing to receive data for enrollees newly attributed to your ACO will be similar across BCDA and CCLF.
For your first question, historical claims data for both newly attributed enrollees and previously attributed enrollees will be available as soon as BCDA receives the historical load of CCLF data at the start of the Performance Year (PY 2025). As you noted, this has typically happened in February. Our team is preparing for the upcoming PY transition and may be able to provide earlier access to the historical claims for newly attributed enrollees. Keep an eye on the Google Group for more updates and what to expect during the upcoming PY transition.
For your second question, an enrollee attributed to your ACO effective 10/1/2024 will be reflected in BCDA once we have received and processed the CCLF8 for your ACO with that enrollee. We're confirming whether, in this case, the enrollee would be reflected in the CCLF8 BCDA receives in October or in November and will get back to you once we have an update.
Thanks,
The BCDA Team
