Hi BCDA Community!
Earlier this month, the BCDA Team shared a preview of the next version of the API with participants at the CMS HL7 FHIR Connectathon. Participants tested V3 of the API in BCDA's sandbox environment and provided feedback on:
- BCDA’s conformance with selected Implementation Guides
- A more conformant approach to publishing CMS-specific terminology
- A new _typeFilter parameter within BCDA
- The updated representation of partially adjudicated claims using the ExplanationOfBenefit resource
If you weren't able to join us at the Connectathon this year, you can visit the
HL7 Confluence site to access the recordings and slides from every track last week.
Want to provide input on the next version of BCDA?
While we continue to collect feedback and refine the upcoming BCDA V3, the
/demo endpoints will remain available to use in BCDA's sandbox environment. If you're interested in trying out these new endpoints and sharing feedback about these changes, learn how to get started with BCDA's
/demo endpoints by following the test scenarios in the
recording of the BCDA Connectathon track.
We look forward to hearing from you!
The BCDA Team
