Join us and other CMS teams July 15-17, 2025 at the virtual HL7 FHIR Connectathon!

This year, we are excited to announce that CMS’ Beneficiary Claims Data API (BCDA) will be hosting its own track in which participants can test connections to demo endpoints in BCDA's sandbox environment and provide early feedback on proposed enhancements to BCDA, including:
  • Easier tracing of claims as they move through the adjudication process
  • Conformance with the latest relevant implementation guides
  • Extensions and CMS-specific codings represented as FHIR resources
Find additional details about this session in the Bulk FHIR Implementation with BCDA track description, and join the conversation with other members of the larger FHIR community in the #bulk data > CMS Connectathon BCDA Bulk Track thread (Zulip "topic").

There will also be a track for the Blue Button 2.0 (BB2.0) API, another API within our family of claims data APIs at CMS. Details for this session may be found here.
View the full schedule here.

Register for the Connectathon by June 30th!
We hope to see you there!
