Mapping for PAID DATE in BCDA Data

Hi Team,

 

In CCLF data, we have CLM_IDR_LD_DT coming in. We are using this as PAID_DATE.

But in BCDA data, we don’t have mapping for this column. Which value from BCDA you will suggest to use as PAID_DATE?

Hi Anil,

Because BCDA does not receive adjudicated claims data from the Integrated Data Repository (IDR), we cannot provide the same CLM_IDR_LD_DT available in CCLF files.

For Part D claims, BCDA does provide the Payment Date at ExplanationOfBenefit.payment.date. Additionally, you may find that the CLM_EFCTV_DT (Date the claim was processed and added to the NCH. Also referred to as the NCH Weekly Processing Date) is a possible substitute to the IDR load date for your organization's purposes.
